Warehousing and Fork Lift Truck Driving - The 15 day course running Mondays to Fridays provides a level 2 warehouse qualification, FLT qualification and FREE FLT license! There are job opportunities after the course with some of the biggest warehouse/logistics companies in the area

To be eligible, customers need to be:

Aged 20+ years old (no upper age limit)

Resident in the UK for 3+ years

Receiving UC, ESA or JSA or working and earning under £17k p.a.

ID/documents required:

Either - Driving license/provisional or Passport or Birth certificate

Plus...

2 proofs of address

Proof of receiving benefits (showing us UC account on phone is fine)

Security - The course is AEB funded, runs for 15 days, Monday to Friday.

Clients receive a level 2 security qualification (the higher-level qualification that includes physical intervention so licenses customers to work in any security environment), level 2 customer service and work skills/personal development qualifications plus a FREE SIA license and guaranteed job interview with Securitas.

If you are an unemployed Sefton resident over 18 yrs of age and are struggling with stress this course has been designed to help.

The Programme will help you to develop the following skills

Increase awareness of Health & Wellbeing

Identify stress and how this impacts on body and mind

Find ways of managing anxiety and negative thinking

Problem solving and goal setting

Identify an awareness of your triggers to prevent relapse

Develop coping strategies & planning techniques for the future

The course will run each Thursday for 5 weeks from 1-3pm

This free course also emphasises the importance of a healthy lifestyle on improving wellbeing through health eating, physical activity, and relaxation techniques

Previous participants have said of the course:

“I have come to the conclusion that I need to slow down & take time to think before any action ”
