Blackburne House are offering pre employment training for Merseyside Police for various roles within the Police force. For this programme Blackburne House are keen to target those from Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds and women as they are currently underrepresented within Merseyside Police. All appointments will be made on merit of skill and experience relative to the role.
Customers MUST:
Must have a strong interest in working for Merseyside Police Able to use own initiative and to work as part of a team Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must have a reasonable standard of education (pref L1 or above).
All candidates successfully completing the PET will be subjected to a rigid vetting process.
CUSTOMERS INTERESTED IN POLICE CONSTABLE ROLES WILL REQUIRE GCSE ENGLISH & MATHS (A – C) AS A MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT.

Venue for PET | Registration/Induction session
Via Zoom on Wednesday 16th December @ 10:00am Pre-employment 4 weeks pre-employment training via Zoom starting on Monday 11/01/21 – Friday 05/02/21 There is no guaranteed interview with this programme. Successful candidates who complete the programme will be recommended for current vacancies/ apprenticeships/voluntary positions. They will also be subject to the vetting process in preparation to apply for any available posts. Candidates will be encouraged and supported to apply for roles whilst on programme.
