Sefton@Work are hosting a SeftonMBC Focus group on Thursday 3rd May from 10am - 12 pm for Sefton@Work Clients to attend.

The reason for the group is detailed below.

“In 2016 we carried out a borough wide consultation and we asked people what they thought was important for Sefton now and in for the future.  Over 5,000 people took part and the information helped us to develop the Vision for Sefton 2030.  People told us what was important and this included:

• Looking after our town centres
• Having houses that people can afford to buy or rent
• There needs to be more jobs for people

The information helped Sefton Council develop a Strategy which is a plan that looks at how we can get more businesses to be based in Sefton and have more high quality, better paid jobs for people and make the Town centres more attractive”
