Reports to:             Operations Manager

1.             You are to assist the Operations Manager in all aspects of department administration. This role will have a broad range of responsibilities and being able to multi-task under pressure will be required. You will be a key member of the management team and will be expected to pitch in where required to ensure we maximise operational potential. Our business is weekend and school holiday focussed therefore regular flexible weekday and fixed weekend working is required within this role to be able to fulfil its main duties. This role will mean that you will be on your feet for prolonged periods and you must be able to maintain energy.

2.             The main responsibility of House Keeping Supervisor role is to manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping team. You will develop the team to ensure they enhance the customer experience whilst ensuring high standards and full compliance with all Health and Safety at Work requirements and COSHH regulations.   Core Duties

3.             Ensure all housekeeping meets the specifications and standards set by the Manager, the task list attached will assist with this.

4.             Ensure the housekeeping team always operates in a professional manner, portraying a positive working culture and work ethic. Ideally, you require at least 3 members of your team to cover each area of responsibility that can be found in the diagram below.

5.             Motivate and lead all employees to perform their roles to a high standard and in alignment to Southport Pleasureland policies and procedures.

6.             Liaise with all other managers to ensure all required tasks are completed on time.   Operational

7.          Allocate staff to the rotas for your department, ensuring that we always have enough staff relevant to the daily requirements. The rota and task sheets attached will assist you in this task.

8.          Allocate responsibility for each person to an area depicted in the diagram / map below. This should be monitored and checked by you on a frequent basis.

9.          You are to ensure all housekeeping requirements are in place before the park opens using the checklist attached.

10.      You are to ensure there are a maximum number of personnel attending to the housekeeping of the Park at all times, managing breaks to provide maximum efficiency.

11.      You are to ensure full compliance in relation to the purchasing of all products/equipment necessary to deliver the cleaning service.

12.      Control all costs such as labour, and materials as agreed with the Operations Manager.  13.      Ensure that all equipment and the overall establishment, is always clean, safe and secure.

14.      Ensure the standards across the site is in accordance with Key Performance Indicators.

15.      Manage and operate daily recording sheets.

16.      Order, manage and control all stock, cleaning and chemical requirements used within the department.

17.      Comply with all Company policies/procedures and site rules and regulations. People 18.          To recruit and manage the team, induct, train, motivate and appraise staff to promote good employee relations and operate within Company procedures, and legislation.

19.          Maintain training records for all staff, ensuring that individual needs are recognised and met through on the job training.

20.          Ensure that all employees project a positive, approachable, friendly and professional image.

21.          To monitor and report all staff absences.

22.          As Supervisor you are responsible for the standard of housekeeping and should deal with any shortfalls appropriately.
