Personal Care Assistant

Job purpose:

To support a 50 year old lady with MS who uses a wheelchair in the Seaforth area

Main Responsibilities:

To enable access to community based activities such as shopping and walks. Personal care will be required at times and some light household duties.

Applicant must be able to physically push a wheelchair and use accessible taxi’s.

Minimum Qualifications:

none as training will be given on the job. It is more important to have caring qualities such as patience, good sense of humour, reliability, and respect, and a willingness to learn.

Experience and skills:  experience preferred either paid or unpaid but not essential.
