Personal Care Assistant

Job purpose:

To provide support for a gentleman who is at the early stages of Dementia within the Southport area.

To help with social interaction and promote independence.

Personal care support also required.

2 hours per week over one afternoon to be agreed

Main Responsibilities:

To support out in the community e.g. going to the gym or library, going for walks and other social activities. This would include travelling using pubic transport or own car.

Would suit someone who is active and has lots of energy, good sense of humour, easy going. Someone who also enjoys playing a game of cards.

Minimum Qualifications Experience preferred but not essential, on the job training will be given

Experience and skills:   Experience or an understanding of Dementia
