Job Purpose: We want people who can get involved in leisure, recreations activities, arts, crafts, and horticulture activities. The duties will also include assisting people to eat and drink and supporting people with their personal care.

Main Responsibilities: • Adapting to meet the individual needs of clients. • Delivering a programmed schedule of activities with individuals and groups. • Encouraging and supporting clients to reach and maintain their optimal level of independence. • Encouraging self-awareness, exploration and reflection on feelings and relationships. • Monitoring and evaluating the effects of the service being provided in order to facilitate client progress. • Liaising with the senior staff team on all aspects of the service being provided. • Making best use of effective skills in the use of ICT. • Making best use of effective written and oral communication skills.

Working Pattern: Shifts are available between 9.30am – 3.30pm from Monday and Friday.

Maximum Salary: £8.76

Comments: As and when “bank” work

Minimum Qualification Comments: Educated to GCSE level or above. Essential Knowledge of relevant legislation and keeping safe at work. NVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care - Desirable
