Hygiene Operative

Description:

We are currently looking for Hygiene Operatives for a factory in L9.

Main Purpose of the job: To ensure all areas of the factory, within the Production areas, are kept clean and tidy.Main duties/responsibilities of the job

• To clean all corridors within the Production Area, paying attention to walls, floors and barriers.

• To have responsibility for the washroom, ensuring dirty to clean flow.

•To clean, when necessary, machinery within the Production area.

• To report any evidence of pest infestation within the Production area.

• To collect, collate and dispose of Production waste material.

• To clean, when required, high level areas such as gantries, girders and stanchions.

• To clean and maintain staff toilets and cloakrooms on a daily basis.

• To clean the hand wash stations within the Production area.

• To perform chemical cleans on Production fryers and roasters if required.

• To stock and maintain vending machines and clean canteen as and when required.

• To ensure that all Health and Safety standards are maintained and that you show due diligence at all times.  You should report any bad practices to the Health and Safety Adviser.

• To comply with all company policies and procedures e.g. health \& safety, training \& development, quality, disciplinary \& grievance and sickness \& absence etc.

• To carry out any other reasonable requests to meet the needs of the business.

Hours of Work: FullOrPartTime

Minimum Salary: £9.60

Maximum Salary: £10.00
