Job purpose

Working with an energetic 15 year old boy who has developmental delay, hyper mobile, chromosomal deletion, ADHD, sensory issues - he is very chatty \& inquisitive!

Need to be flexible with own car

Main Responsibilities

1:1 support out in community

Help build confidence \& explore old/new interests safely

Activities to be child led and different each week - swimming, park, cinema, farms, trains, lunches - Looking into joining an afterschool club like football.

Minimum Qualifications N/A

Experience and Skills required

Previous experience with people with additional needs.

Empathetic, enthusiastic, trustworthy, patient, good communication skills and punctual.

Makaton or any signing a plus, something that is used in school and is keen to show how to sign things. Lots of energy!
