Support Worker/Personal Care Assistant

We are ideally looking for someone who can do overnight stays and daytime hours.

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated individual to serve as a personal care assistant for a 22-year-old woman with disabilities, including FND, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and a wheelchair user.

This role involves providing personalised support and assistance to help enhance her quality of life and promote her independence. The aim is to help the client do everything she would do herself if she weren’t disabled. This includes various things such as practical support, help with admin and studies, going outside, and helping with her dog.

We're not massively fixated on qualifications but would rather that the applicant is enthusiastic at work, is flexible as her needs change and is happy to learn, prioritises privacy and confidentiality and has a joyful and energetic presence.

A driving licence and access to a car with business insurance are required.

Basic knowledge of personal care and house maintenance is needed.

·       Reliable and responsible with a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.

Wage: £11.00 per hour, £110.00 per night.
