Job Purpose: Sefton's Aspiring Instructor Programme is recruiting for new participants for its 2019 course. Aspiring Instructors is a 16-week voluntary programme targeted at unemployed Sefton residents and is designed to enable participants to explore and develop the skills to enter a career in the Sports, Fitness and Leisure industry. It includes a combination of accredited and recognised qualifications, coaching and work experience as well as a range of pathways to select on the course including; Lifeguarding, Fitness Instructing and Water Sports coaching.

Main Responsibilities: Participants will leave the programme with the following; • A minimum of 8 industry recognised qualifications • Work Placement opportunities • Industry experience • Increased Employability Skills • Tailored support to find paid employment

Hours of Work: Part Time

Comments: Open Days will be held at Crosby Lakeside Activity Centre (CLAC) on any of the following dates and times; - Friday 18th January 2019 @ 10:30 - Wednesday 16th January 2019 @ 10:30
