Be Inspired, Sefton – Hundreds Attend March 2026 Careers Fairs

Sefton@Work’s Be Inspired, Sefton careers fairs continued their success this year, with two well‑attended events taking place in March 2026.

The first event was held on 11 March at Bootle Cricket Club, followed by a second on 18 March at Southport Market. Both fairs brought together local residents, employers, training providers and support services, giving people the chance to explore new career opportunities and develop their skills.

These March events built on the strong foundations set in 2025, when over 408 residents and 68 organisations took part across the programme. The continued high turnout shows just how valuable these community events have become for people looking to change career, gain new qualifications or simply find inspiration.

Supporting residents and employers

As always, the friendly Sefton@Work team were on hand to provide free, confidential advice on job searching, training, education and self‑employment. Local employers were also supported through Sefton@Work’s free recruitment service, which helps businesses advertise vacancies, manage applications and pre‑screen candidates.

More events to come

With the March events proving another success, two more Be Inspired careers fairs are already being planned for September 2026, offering even more opportunities for residents and employers across Sefton.
