Creative Course with Zope Actors Studios Boosts Confidence for Trailblazer Participants
Sefton@Work recently funded a new creative skills programme with Zope Actors Studios, delivered by internationally renowned Liverpool actors. The project gave our Trailblazer participants a unique chance to develop confidence, communication and employability through practical acting and creative work.
Running twice a week from early March, the programme offered on‑camera acting, scene work, teamwork, creative problem‑solving and activities to build routine, focus and motivation. The sessions were led by working professionals with lived experience of breaking into the industry, making the learning both inspiring and relatable.
Feedback from participants has been extremely positive, with many reporting increased self‑belief, improved communication and a greater sense of direction. This creative approach has proved an effective way to help young people grow personally and professionally.
