TRAINING FOR A CAREER IN SOCIAL CARE

Are you 19 or over, in receipt of benefits and currently unemployed? . We provide a free, pre-employment training programme for social care which will prepare you to work with people who need care or support to live their lives.

. During the programme you will learn about possible roles, your responsibilities and duty of care. You will find out how to keep people safe and ways of developing good working relationships including how to communicate well and handle sensitive information. You will also complete an employability qualification and other specialist training such as first aid, health and safety and food safety.

At the end of your programme you will receive support on completing application forms and interview skills in preparation for your guaranteed job interviews.

. An open day will take place on Wednesday 11th November 2020 from 10am – 1pm at Lowlands, West Derby Community Association, 13 Haymans Green, West Derby, L12 7JG

The centre is newly fitted with state of the art IT equipment, Interview Suite, Drop-in sessions to support those clients who do not have access to IT at home.

ATOS are full time roles and agents will work between 7am – 10pm working 5 days out of 7.

In September 2020 the College are pleased to launch their brand new Employability Hub based at The Arts Centre Campus.  This centre will be delivering a wide range of both Digital/IT qualifications and Employability Support and qualifications in a number of vocational areas.

The centre is newly fitted with state of the art IT equipment, Interview Suite, Drop-in sessions to support those clients who do not have access to IT at home.
