New Sector-based work academy

We are currently working with CRG who are recruiting for full and part time staff within the care sector all over Liverpool and Wirral. Crosby Training will train you in various aspects of the roles and on completion of the course are offering driving lesson along with a provisional driving licence.

• Have an interest in working within the care sector
• Be able to pass DBS
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to use own initiative and to work as part of a team

Wednesday 2^nd December 2020

• Blended learning of both face to face and remotely
• Essential Zoom/Skype/Microsoft Teams training in preparation for virtual meetings and interviews with employers
• PPE and Covid 19 Awareness Training
• Health & Safety in the workplace
• Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults & Supporting Others Awareness Session
• Understanding Mental Health Awareness - 5 most important principles of Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
• Autism Awareness
• Understanding Dementia
• Researching and understanding the role of the Care Giver/Support Worker
• Introduction to the Care Certificate
• Information sessions with employers, exploring their range of opportunities and progressions
• Application Form and Interview Preparation
• Working as part of a team
• Support through the DBS process
• Advice on looking their best in our new luxury high street brand Salon for free treatments before interviews.

Following completion of the course Crosby Training are offering a Driving Package

• Provisional Driving Licence
• 8 Free driving lessons on completion of training
• A further 12 free driving lessons when starting work
• Driving Test Theory training and APP

Pre Employment Training start Monday 7^th December 2020 – Tuesday 22^nd December 2020
