About the role
Carer/Support Worker/PA
Southport,
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic support workers to
provide support to a friendly creative 7-year-old girl with Autism with a PDA
Profile and personal care needs.
She loves being outside and she loves
crafting.
This role involves engaging her in activities and helping her
access the community.
You will need to support her routine and provide and
calm and positive environment to encourage her independence and confidence
2 hrs per week
12 hrs per week during school holidays
(2hrs support to be provided on Tuesday
Evenings other available hours: days/times to be mutually agreed with
employer)
£13.00 per hour
Duties (day to day)
* To provide 1 to 1 support
* Close supervision required at all times
* Support to access the community and social
activities
* Provide personal care while maintaining her
dignity and comfort.
* Identify new interests and help her engage
in these.
Essential skills
*We’re looking for someone who:*

and knowledge of working with children with additional needs is desirable
* Has experience
and skills in a caring role formal or informal desirable
* Is Friendly,
caring, and empathetic
* Is enthusiastic
with a positive outlook and sense of humour
* Is Reliable,
punctual, and understanding
* Has good
communication skills
* Driving licence
and access to own vehicle desirable

* An enhanced DBS check will be
required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer.
