Carer/Support Worker/PA

About the role

We are looking for a caring and supportive support worker for a
friendly chatty 10-year-old boy who has autism, ADHD and anxiety.

He loves
gaming and Pokémon.

This role involves engaging him in his favourite
activities supporting his routine and providing a calm positive environment.

12hrs per week SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ONLY
(Days and Times to be mutually agreed with
employer)

£13.00 per hour

Duties (day to day)
* 1 to 1 support
* Supervision requires
* Support to access activities and the wider
community

* Identify new interests and help provide
suitable sensory activities

Essential skills

*We’re looking for someone who:*
* Has experience
and knowledge of working with children with additional needs is desirable
* Has experience
and skills in a caring role formal or informal desirable
* Is Friendly,
caring, and empathetic
* Is enthusiastic
with a positive outlook and sense of humour
* Is Reliable,
punctual, and understanding
* Got good
communication skills
* Driving licence
and access to own vehicle desirable
* DBS

An enhanced DBS check will be
required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer.
