Job Title: Payroll Officer

Salary:£30,000 - £33,000 (may flex slightly upwards depending on candidate
experience)

Reports to: Payroll Manager

Location: The Royal Liver Building, L3 1NX

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5pm (37.5hrs per week)

Mon – Thurs is in office and Fri is a WFH day if preferred. We have some
flexibility on start and finish times under our core hours policies.

Core
hours are 10 – 4 Mon – Thurs / 10 – 3 Fri – you can flex slightly on start and
finish times providing 37.5hrs are worked each week and it’s in line with the
team/manager/business needs.

General Overview:

Assisting the payroll team in ensuring payroll is processed accurately
across 8 UK sites (head office + 7 manufacturing sites) this includes 4 weekly
runs and 7 monthly.

Overall providing payroll to over 3,000 employees; using
a time in attendance system to support with accuracy, handling shift and
general pay variances and liaising with 3rd parties, e.g HMRC,
pension providers etc.

The successful candidate will join a team of x1 additional permanent
Payroll Officer, x1 temporary Payroll Officer, x1 Payroll Manager.

The
opportunity is available due to upcoming business growth/integration.

Key Requirements:
* Experience as an established Payroll Officer
Comfortable using Payroll systems
* Experience handling large payrolls e.g. 1,000’s
of employees rather than hundreds
* Experience with handling high volume of varying
shift patterns
* Experience with weekly/bi-weekly/monthly payment
runs
* Experience with time in attendance systems
