To support a non-verbal, 4 year old girl with CP. Tube fed (Dual Button jej/gastro)

We are seeking an individual who is full of fun and silliness with a kind and caring nature. You need to be encouraging and
supportive with a can-do, positive attitude to encourage development through play and activities to

Term Time – 12hrs per week

3.30pm – 6.30pm Monday to Thursday (days/times - flexibility is possible – occasionally weekend hours may be required)

Non Term time (school holidays) – 16hrs per week

Tuesday 8am – 6pm

Thursdays 9am – 3pm

£13 per hour

Expected duties would
be:

Personal care

Administer tube feeds and meds

Activities

Assistance with physio

Assistance with communication

Desirable skills and experience:

Experience of support children with complex/additional needs

Experience with tube feeding

First aid

AAC experience of switched PODD books/symbols, eye gaze

Full, clean, driving licence

Training can be provided for the right candidate

-An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer.
