About the role
Job Description:
Max is 7 years old and lives with his mum, dad, older sister and younger brother in Birkdale.
He has a ASD diagnosis and is pre-verbal, making his needs known through vocalisations, body language and gestures. He also uses a Now and Next boards and visuals to aid his communicate.
Max is not aware of risk and danger and needs supervision at all times.
He also has a condition called Chiari Malformation; this is where the brain pushes down on the spinal cord. There are no current symptoms or specific care needs related to his condition.
Max is not comfortable with touch but finds comfort and enjoyment from his toy cars and dummy.
Max is able to use the toilet during the day.
Max loves water play, riding his bike and going to the park.
Max can become dysregulated at times.
DBS required
Other requirements:
A DBS is required, and you will NOT be able to provide the support until this has cleared.
