We’re Hatter’s. We help businesses tell better stories, connect with the right people, and actually make marketing work. We’re part of the Liverpool City Region Youth Trailblazer programme, which means we’re offering a paid opportunity to someone aged 18–21 who is currently not in education, employment, or training. This isn’t a “make the tea and sit quietly” role. You’ll be part of the team from day one.
**What you’ll be doing:**You’ll support the team across real client work, learning by doing and building proper experience along the way.
That could include:
● Creating social media content (graphics, captions, short-form video)
● Supporting with design work for client projects
● Helping plan and schedule content
● Researching ideas and trends
● Getting involved in campaign planning and creative discussions
● Learning how marketing actually works behind the scenes We’ll shape the role around your strengths.
If you lean more toward design, we’ll lean into that. If you’re more content-focused, we’ll build from there. What we’re looking for You don’t need loads of experience. But you do need to be able to create.
We’re looking for someone who:
****● Is curious and wants to learn
● Has a genuine interest in social media, design, or marketing
● Can already create content in at least one of these areas:○ Designing graphics (e.g. Canva, Adobe, or similar)○ Writing captions or short-form content○ Creating or editing video (e.g. TikTok, Reels)
● Understands what “good” content looks like (even if you’re still figuring out how to make it)
● Is reliable and shows up ready to get stuck in
● Isn’t afraid to ask questions
● Wants to build something for themselves, not just pass time You don’t need to be polished. But you do need to show us that you’ve already taken the first steps .If you’ve got examples of things you’ve created (social media posts, videos, designs, anything), please share them.
