About the role
Job Description:
To support a gentleman with a mild learning difficulty living in the family home. He has a very pleasing personality, is friendly and enjoys watching wrestling and soaps on TV.
Hours: 20.5 hours per week Monday to Friday – times to be discussed at interview
Flexible hours may be required
Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour
Duties (day to day):
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Support with personal care
Support with keeping his personal space clean and tidy
Support with his laundry
Support in the community, with interests including playing pool, going to the museum, cinema, theatre, and shopping
Transport to and from activities and trips out
Involvement in hobbies
Essential skills and must-haves:
Reliable Calm Kind Honest Naturally caring with patience, dignity and respect
Desirable:
Personal or professional experience of supporting people with a learning difficulty
Full driving licence and access to own car
DBS required
Other requirements:
An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer

Roles exceeding 18 hours will be classed as full time for our current contract
