Job Description
To provide support to an 8 year old girl who loves being outside, the park and the beach are her favourite. She also enjoys soft play. She absolutely loves paw patrol, it is a very big and important part of her life.
She is very loving and loves tickles but can become frustrated which can cause her to pinch and punch. She also can bite herself and hit her head with objects and butt things.
She is very limited with language.
6 hours per week term time
8 hours per week school holidays
£12.75
per hour
Duties
Provide 1:1 support.
To always provide close supervision.
Interact and play with me.
Support me to participate in activities that I enjoy.
Help to keep me safe whilst out and about.
Support to identify new activities
Provide
personal care
Essential Skills
You must be friendly, patient, caring, empathetic, enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
and a positive outlook.
Experience of supporting people with additional needs in a formal or informal role would be
desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to be punctual and
reliable.
Driving licence required
An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer.We are a private household therefore we CANNOT provide sponsorship, so you MUST have a full right to work in the UK.
