Weekend Support Workers Needed for Autistic Child (5 hours/weekend) ​We are looking for two compassionate and reliable
Support Workers to provide care for our wonderful 9-year-old autistic son with
complex needs. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in a
child's life and become a valued part of our family.

​About the Role:
​Hours: 5 hours per weekend (total)

Duties:

You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to our son,
engaging him in his favorite activities (such as playing sensory games,
transport rides (buses ,trains) trampoline centre,swimming and going to the
park), and ensuring his safety and well-being.


Key Needs: Our son is non-verbal, uses PECS (Picture Exchange Communication
System), and has sensory processing differences. Experience with or a
willingness to learn about these areas is essential. He can also exhibit
challenging behaviors when overwhelmed, so a calm, patient, and resilient
demeanor is required.

Essential Skills:

Previous experience working with autistic children or individuals with complex needs
is highly preferred.


Skills: You must be a patient, empathetic, and proactive person. A good
sense of humour and a gentle, calm approach are a must.

An enhanced DBS check will be required before
