School Cleaner - Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary

About the role

10 hours per week. + 20 across school holidays.

Grade B pro rata - approx. £5600 per year

We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated School Cleaner to work in our small school. The role is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time, plus two weeks (20 hours across the school holidays).

Normal working hours are 3:30pm - 5:30pm.

You will form part of a team, undertaking various cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children’s learning environment is always clean.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning

• Ability to work under own initiative

• Awareness of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of the school

• Awareness of importance of hygiene in the work place

• Reliability

• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations as they relate to the operation of cleaning equipment and materials

• Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)• Understanding of the School’s ethos and values

• Understanding of school policies and be willing and able to work within these

• A ‘Can do attitude’
