Carer/Support Worker/PA Bootle, Sefton DP/NM/ZH

About the role

Job Description.Support is required for a 34-year-old woman who has spina
bifida, some memory problems and uses a catheter, assistance with this may be
needed on occasion. She uses a wheelchair

She is a self-confessed girlie girl.

She loves to spend her leisure time shopping, getting her
hair and nails done, going to concerts but most of all she likes being out and
about.

Although she can be shy and quiet around new people, once
she gets to know them, she is more open and confident.

16 hours per week. Days and times to be agreed each Sunday
for the week ahead depending on schedule/appointments. Hours worked will be
afternoon, evenings and weekends.

£ 12.50 P/H

Duties (day to day)

Main duties will include (but are not limited to)

Support to access the community using a wheelchair

support to participate with current activities

support to identify new activities

support to use public transport to access activities (cost
will be met by client)

occasional personal care support

-You must be patient, kind and trustworthy.

-Reliability and flexibility with days/hours to be worked.

-Willingness to build up and develop a positive
relationship/friendship.

-Good communication skills and the ability to support and
encourage someone to come to a decision when they may be indecisive.

- experience of supporting people with additional needs
would be desirable.

Female only as some personal care assistance is required.

-An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment
commences; this cost will be met by the employer.

-We are a private household therefore we CANNOT provide
sponsorship, so you MUST have a full right to work in the UK.
