Delivery Driver - Part Time - L3

Looking for a part time delivery driver to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from L3.

Essential Requirements:

• Full licence to drive 7.5 ton vehicle, combined with driving experience within the last 12 months.
• You must also hold a current CPC \& Digi card to be considered for the role.
• Knowledge of digital tachograph and working time regulations.
• Will accept 3 points on licence for non-drink/drug offences.
• Glass handling experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given.

As a delivery driver, it will be your job to be the face of the company. You will be responsible for providing a prompt, courteous and efficient service, whilst understanding and adhering to all health and safety principles.

As this is a driving role, you will require a strong geographical knowledge of the UK. You will also demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours in order to meet customer requirements. You must ensure you are compliant with road and traffic regulations, including the laws relating to tachographs, and ensure that your vehicle is kept clean and tidy in line with health and safety principles.

Job involves:

• Loading/unloading vehicle including securing mirrors and glass cases
• Multi- drop deliveries, UK wide in a 7.5 ton high cube transit
• Daily vehicle checks for safety and cleanliness
• Checking delivery notes at each drop to ensure each delivery is complete and accurate
• Friendly and effective communication with both office and customers
• Must be physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg
