Attractions Operator

Description:

1. Your line manager is the Attractions Supervisor. You are to assist the Supervisor in all aspects of attractions and customer management. You will be a key member of the team and will be expected to pitch in where required. Our business is weekend and school holiday focussed. Therefore, regular flexible weekday and fixed weekend working is required within this role to be able to fulfil the main duties. This role will mean that you will be on your feet for prolonged periods and you must be able to maintain energy levels.

2. You are to ensure you operate in a professional manner, portraying a positive working culture and work ethic with a “customer first” attitude.

3. Liaise with your Supervisor / Manager for all breaks and operation of rides and attractions. You must have the supervisor’s permission to take breaks or leave your position. You are not to leave the ride or attraction unattended at any time.

4. Comply with all Company policies, procedures, site rules and regulations, in particular the Health and Safety at Work Act and COSHH regulations. If you are unsure of any of your actions, you should ask the Supervisor or Manager.

5. Ensure that you project a positive, approachable, friendly, and professional image. This will be monitored on a frequent basis by the Supervisor and Manager.

6. You will be designated a ride or attraction in line with your experience and training, which will be allocated by your Supervisor.

7. You are to ensure all requirements are in place before the park opens and before opening your ride or attraction, using the checklist provided by your supervisor. This includes taking responsibility for the ride or attraction and ensuring it is clean and well presented for guests.

8. Ensure that all equipment and the overall establishment, is always clean, safe and secure. You should ensure you clean your ride/attraction, both before the park opens and after the park closes.Main Duties

9. To operate the Park’s rides and attractions safely and proficiently in accordance with the training given, and to ensure through excellent customer interaction, our guests have a great experience.

This includes but is not limited to:

a. Ensure the safety of all our guests whilst on your ride/attraction.

b. Operate the rides/attractions in accordance with the training given using the ride manual provided as a guide.

c. Be in full control of the ride/attraction whilst in operation and not allow unauthorised persons to operate the ride/attraction.

d. Ensure the ride/attraction being operated is clean and tidy at all times.

e. Ensure all queuing areas are clean and tidy at all times.

f. You are to ensure the ride/attraction and surrounding area is cleaned at the end of each day before leaving. You are to report to the Ride Supervisor before leaving.

g. Report any health \& safety or other issues as quickly as possible to your relevant Supervisor / Manager.

h. Interact with our guests in a polite, professional and friendly manner.i. Keep all company property in good repair and report any misuse.

j. Ensure a high standard of personal appearance is maintained at all times whilst in the Park.
