Catering Supervisor

Job Title: Food \& Beverage Supervisor Reports to: Food \& Beverage Manager General Responsibilities

1. You are to assist the Manager in all aspects of your department administration. Your role is vital in helping to make sure every guest has a memorable experience for all the right reasons. You will be a key member of the Park team and will be expected to pitch in where required to ensure we maximise operational potential. Our business is weekend and school holiday focussed therefore regular flexible weekday and fixed weekend working is required within this role to be able to fulfil its main duties.

2. You are to manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of our Food and Beverage team. You will develop the team to ensure they enhance the customer experience whilst maintaining high standards and full compliance with all health and safety regulations.

3. You are to ensure the hygienic preparation of all food and drinks, in accordance with current regulations helping keep our dining areas clean and tidy and oversee the staff serving on the EPOS till.

4. You will be dealing with lots of different people throughout the day and an excellent customer service skills are important. This role will mean that you will be on your feet for prolonged periods and you must be able to maintain energy levels. Main duties

5. You should report to the Manger, daily, to appraise them of any shortcomings, or misgivings for the day ahead. In addition, the manager will pass on any important information that you need to be aware of.

6. You are to ensure there are enough staff to cover all food outlets using PlanDay to schedule the F\&B personnel.

7. You are responsible for making sure sufficient orders of food and beverages are ordered from the relevant suppliers to ensure there is no chance of running short.

8. You must be conversant with payment processing technologies as the park only accepts card payments and ensure all card payments are processed correctly.

9. Adhere to the companies Food Handling and Health \& Safety policies and procedures, a copy of which is available in all food outlets, and you must report any failings to the manager.

10. You must ensure the Unit Diaries are kept current and completed on a daily basis, with any anomalies reported and resolved as soon as possible.

11. Ensure a high standard of personal appearance is maintained at all times by all our F\&B team.

12. Ensure that team members do not leave for the day without cleaning their stations in a clean, tidy and hygienic state.

13. Be prepared to assist with any emergency situation and evacuation if necessary.
