(PORTABLE) FIRE EXTINGUISHER ENGINEER

Description:

FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED - OVER 25 FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES

Main role purpose:

• Servicing and Supplying Portable Fire Extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards – BS 5306
• Visiting a large client base throughout the North West, surveying clients premises for Signs/Portable Fire Extinguishers
• Liaising with customers at all levels
• Advising clients regarding their responsibilities in accordance with The Fire Safety Order
• Using general tools including Spring Balance Scales, Gauge Tester, Spanners, screwdrivers and grips, Drills Rawlplugs and Plasterboard Fixings -PPE provided.
• Fitting Fire Safety Signs using silicone

Good attention to detail including record keeping, reports and surveys - service report forms and location sheets.

You will have Maths and English to GCSE standard and be IT literate

Candidates will need excellent communication skills and telephone manner

Full Training and Support will be provided after which Portable Fire Extinguisher Exam must be passed.
