Apprentice Customer Services Assistant

Apprenticeships are high quality, work-based training programmes for people who want to develop their prospects and career.  The programme provides work-based training to young people and adults who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working.

Burial and Cremation Services are looking to recruit an Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the 15 month programme.

Your duties will include; answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, data input and production of reports from specialised ICT systems, data checking and cleansing and maintaining the reception area to ensure it is tidy and that all publicity materials on display are relevant and up to date.  You will deal with routine enquiries and correspondence relating to burial and cremation provision from funeral professionals and similar ‘internal’ customers.   This post will be based at Southport Crematorium, 159 Southport Rd, Scarisbrick, Southport PR8 5JQ

Salary - £9,030 - £17,833 per annum (NMW age dependent) Hours - 36 hours Fixed term for 15 months.

Qualification – Level 2 Customer Services Practitioner
