General Assistant / Labourer

Description:

Labourer required to work at a Glass production company.

Role: General Assistant/Labourer

Pay: £10 - £13 per hour

Location: Bootle

Contract: Permanent role - 3 month probation.

Benefits: 22 days holiday and bank holidays in a full holiday year.

The role would involve a combination of:

• Working on the glass washing machine
• Operating the safety backing machine (applying a clear film from a large roller onto the back of mirrors for safety)
• Assisting machine operators when/where required

This is a manual Job so the ideal candidate should be physically fit and be able to lift up to 25KGs.

Glass handling experience or even a fork lift licence, would be an advantage, but full training in the role and PPE will be given. Safety boots are compulsory.

Shifts

6.00am to 2.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 6.00am to 1.00pm (Friday) 2.00pm to 10.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 1.00pm to 6.00pm (Friday)
