Production Operatives

Full time role – 40 hours per week 5 days out of 7 (shift patterns which will include early start, evenings and weekends)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Line Operator for the production team, you will be responsible for various aspects of the production during the shift. The position will be within our Production Team and located at our manufacturing plant in Aintree, Liverpool.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

·       Ensure the line you are managing is running as efficiently as possible.

·       Carry out operational activities including but not limited to production preparation,                  machine operating filling, packing and palletising, work area cleanliness.

·       Report any issues with stock or equipment to the shift supervisor to minimise downtime.

·       Basic machine fault finding and rectification.

·       Maintaining line cleaning routines.

·       You will play a key part in ensuring the site meets its key performance indicators and              broader objectives.

·       Ensure you always understand and comply with Health and Safety and Environmental              requirements; report any near misses, incidents or accidents and promote a safe                    culture.

·       You will support the team to ensure quality and site standards are maintained.

·       Support continuous improvement across the production area and process.

·       Support the ecommerce department when required.

ABOUT YOU:

To achieve success in this role you will have:

·       Previous experience in a similar industry (FMCG) preferred but not essential.

·       Good communication skills

·       Work efficiently as a team and independently

·       Be results driven with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

·       A strong appreciation for health and safety in the workplace.

LOCATION:

·       The role is office based in our brand-new HQ in Bootle, Liverpool.
