Job Purpose: To provide excellent customer service to pharmacy customers.

Main Responsibilities: As a assistant, you will work as part of a team under the direction of a registered Pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include: Issuing stock items and prepared prescriptions Collection of prescription charges/checking patient exemption statements Operation of efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the Counter with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimising wastage Cleaning work surfaces and shelving on a regular basis and ensuring that all dispensary equipment is kept clean and kept in good working order. Maintaining full and accurate records of script figures. Taking orders for repeats and dealing with queries from surgeries and patients Using the computer to keep records up to date with patient notes and communication this to the pharmacist Handling prescription money and operating/balancing the till. Assisting in stock checks Selling and retailing other stock from the store

Working Pattern: Currently Part time Thursday & Friday 9-5.30pm

Hours of Work: Part Time

Maximum Salary: £9.00
