Job Purpose: An international car rental company – are seeking a new team player to support customers with the hire and collection of their vehicles.

Main Responsibilities: The role will be to assist the branch manager with day-to-day operations of the branch. This will entail: · Selling additional extras such as coverage, GPS, baby seats, additional driver cover, and luxury features etc. · Dealing with the general public and corporate clients on the phone and in person · Taking bookings and explaining terms and conditions to customers · Processing payments and ID checks correctly, including pre-authorisations / card details / credit checks etc. · Opening and closing the branch when the manager is off · Completing daily reports, paperwork and stock allocation · Arranging vehicle maintenance, checking mileage, damage etc. · Showing vehicles to customers and recharging damaged vehicles to customers · Any other duties commensurate with the role, as required, such as valeting vehicles

Hours of Work: Full Time

Maximum Salary: £8.91

Comments: THIS IS INITIALLY A ZERO HOURS ROLE, EXPECTED TO BECOME FULL TIME, FOLLOWING LOCKDOWN EASING BONUS & COMMISSIONS AVAILABLE We can offer you the opportunity to develop a long-term career with us and support to help you achieve this. Minimum Qualification Comments: · Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (i.e. no more than 2 moving violations within the last 2 years and no DWI/DUI’s, suspensions and/or “at fault” accidents within the last 2 years) · Must qualify for our insurance and able to pass pre-employment background and drug screens. · Must have the flexibility to work day and/or evening hours, as well as weekends/holidays as needed · Must have basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications · Must have Right to work in the United Kingdom
