Hours: 38 hours per week + Overtime.

Experience and Skills: Previous experience is Essential. You must have the ability to work from drawings and be competent to work alone or as a team. You must have a flexible approach to work with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to manage your time effectively, whilst working to tight targets and deadlines as required.

Job Purpose: A local engineering firm based in Bootle are looking for a time served Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator Welder.

Main Responsibilities: You will be working with stainless and carbon steel, fabricating and welding using equipment including guillotines, pressbreak, pedestal drills, grinders, band saw, chop saw, section rollers and forklift truck to a high standard.

Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday 7:45-4:15 Friday 7:45-2:15

Hours of Work: Full Time

Minimum Salary: £12.00

Maximum Salary: £14.00

Comments: £12- £14 per hour All work must be completed within the companies Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Minimum Qualification Comments: Essential: Must have an NVQ or City & Guilds in Sheet Metal work/ a time served fabricator/welder. Desirable Fork lift truck license, MEWP license.
