Knowledge of End of Life Vehicle depollution and dismantling. Knowledge of general site rules and regulations. Problem solving and decision-making ability. Job Purpose: To support in the daily management of a busy scrap yard, aiming to improve the yard's organisation and productivity.

Main Responsibilities: Assisting the site manager in the day to day operation of the yard; Organising stock ;Assessing and managing safety hazards in the workplace; Carry out site inspections and complete relevant paperwork; Implement and training staff on the safe storage and correct disposal of hazardous waste; Support the organisation in staff management ; Complete any tasks set out by the management team

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9:00-5:30 - Saturday 9.00-4.00

Hours of Work: Full Time

Minimum Salary: £23000.00

Comments: Permanent following successful completion of 3 month probationary period. Salary from 23,000 depending on experience.

Minimum Qualification Comments: Wamitab (ELV) essential
