Job Purpose: Based in Thornton. This role is to support the teacher within the classroom following the curriculum.
Main Responsibilities: The postholder will be expected to establish good working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model. Be aware and respond appropriately to individual pupils needs, promoting inclusion and acceptance of all pupils. You will also be required to prepare the classroom as directed before and after lessons, encourage pupils to interact and engage with others in activities led by the teacher. Prepare and maintain equipment and resources as directed, assisting pupils in the use of appropriate resources within the lesson plan.
Hours of Work: Full Time
