Job Purpose: Based in Bootle. This post is funded by the Steve Morgan Foundation. The post holder will provide one to one issue based advocacy support to people with a learning disability.
Main Responsibilities: To build relationships with community organisations, agencies and advice services. To be the liaison between the individual and community organisations/agencies creating a link that will enable the individual to address their issues.
Hours of Work: Part Time
Minimum Salary: £13442.00
Comments: People First Merseyside is a user-led self-advocacy organisation for adults with a learning disability. Interviews will take place on Thursday 30th January with a view to the post commencing on 1st April 2020.
Minimum Qualification Comments: Computer skills: Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, Excel, social media. Excellent communication skills
