Job purpose

Based in Waterloo, Providing Breakfast club, and Afterschool care, you will assist with day to day activities of the club and provide high quality play care within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures To create a fun filled place for children attending.

Main Responsibilities

Assist with planning, preparing and delivering high quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from schools and delivering them safely to parents/carers Providing refreshments and ensuring that excellent hygiene, health and safety standards are met

Comments

Permanent post, to start immediately. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offender Act 1974 as the position involves working within the close proximity of young children. The post holder will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure. DBS will be paid by the employer.

Minimum Qualifications

Level 2 in childcare or working towards Level 3

Experience and skills

Essential- Experience of working with children age 4-12 years
