Event Sales Executive

Are you experienced in sales? Are you confident \& looking for a new challenge? If so, we want to hear from you! We are currently seeking an experienced sales executive to join our expanding team. We are based in Southport and you will be reporting to the Sales and Promotional Manager.  The position will require you to grow and develop our special events across our 6 UK holiday parks.

As the Special Events Sales Executive, you will be required to work as part of the Pontins Events Sales Team to deliver exceptional successful events with the objective of maximizing revenue across the 6 parks. You will gain full knowledge of the Pontins Parks with the ability to confidently relay this knowledge to our future clients.

You will explore and develop all new leads and different business sectors with targeted cold calling to senior contacts. Gathering sales intelligence, setting appointments to show off our exceptional sites. You will be required to negotiate the terms of an agreement and the costs and specifications. You will attend client site meetings plus pre-and post-operational meetings.

Previous experience in a similar environment is essential. In addition, you will have experience of developing and implementing successful sales leads and possess excellent communication skills. You will be highly motivated, ambitious and target driven. A confident and professional telephone manner reinforced with tenacity is essential for this role.
