YARD OPERATIVE

****Job purpose Working for a well-established family business that has operated from Merseyside since 1986 You will be maintaining tank and yard cleaning on an industrial site.

Main Responsibilities The applicant must be able to operate machinery

***(F**ull training will be given)** such as crushing machines and jet washing machines. You will be prepared to undertake cleaning of large storage tanks and therefore must be comfortable working in confined spaces. Your Covid 19 Considerations: PPE available

You will be required to register with Sefton@Work if eligible.

**\&Minimum Qualifications

Health and Safety at work certificate preferred Level 2

Working in Combined spaces or equivalent will be advantageous but not essential

Experience and skills

You will need to be physically fit and will be prepared to work outdoors both during summer and winter, be very hands on and be used to physical/manual labour. You will possess a good degree of common sense and be health and safety aware. Previous labouring skills would be advantageous.

40 hours per week £10 p/h plus overtime at £15 per hour.

Shifts are: 6.00am to 4.00pm or 8.00am to 6.00pm as required.
