Qualification - Level 2 Horticulture or Landscape Operative Apprenticeship     Apprenticeships are high quality, work-based training programmes for people who want to develop their prospects and career.  The programme provides work-based and college training for those who want to learn new skills and gain a qualification while working.   Green Sefton are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the 26 month programme.   Duties will include routine maintenance activities such as grass cutting, cleansing of litter, shrub \& hedge maintenance, seasonal bedding, sports pitch marking & renovation, path sweeping and supporting Community groups to provide a high quality of maintenance to Sefton’s green spaces.   The post will be working boroughwide, with a base in either Waterloo or Southport depending on the successful applicant.

Salary - £9,030- £17,833 per annum (age dependent NMW) Hours - 36 hours Fixed term for 26 months
