Description:
A full time, permanent Chef is required to work within a busy restaurant in Waterloo, serving Mediterranean cuisine. Role Requirements: * Prepare fresh ingredients * Prepare hot and cold food orders to order * Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process * Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste * Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards * Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day. Personal Qualities * Six months previous experience. * Passion for good quality fresh produce and food * Understanding of food hygiene requirements * Good food presentation skills * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to work as part of a team. * Hardworking * Shift flexibility including weekends. * The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure. **Hours of work -**35-40 hours per week Salary - Minimum wage - £10.00 per hour, dependant on experience. **How to apply;**CV's to maria.platt@sefton.gov.uk
