Kitchen Assistant

Description:

A busy seafront restaurant in Southport is looking to recruit 2 part time Kitchen Assistants to work as part of a team within a busy kitchen.

You will be responsible for the cleanliness and equipment preparation in order for our kitchen team to provide the best service possible.

Your duties as a Kitchen Porter will include but are not limited to:

• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Collect and wash up pots and pans.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
• Keep the storeroom organised, outside areas tidy and back corridors/fridges and freezers in good condition.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

Hours of work: Mon to Thurs 4.30pm-10.30pm; Fri, Sat and Sun 2.30pm-10.30pm.

Rate of pay: Minimum wage.
