JOB OPPORTUNITY

A cheerful young man on the autistic spectrum living at home in Ainsdale with his family is looking for a companion. The job would involve providing 1:2:1 support (and transport) one weekday a week, picking him up from home, driving him to a venue in Formby, spending the day there with him and dropping him at home afterwards. He is a physically able, happy person who needs support with social anxiety and help keeping safe in all situations.

Experience of working with people with special needs would be preferred, but being reliable, resourceful and a good communicator with a cheery, positive outlook and a caring personality is more important.

The rate is £11 an hour, plus mileage allowance.

The hours are 9.30am to 4.30pm (7 hours), one weekday a week.
