Unemployed? Ways to Work can help!

If you are looking for work the Ways to Work programme can help.

Sefton Council has accepted a grant offer for a share of a £42million ESF project called Ways to Work to deliver employment advice, guidance, job preparation skills and paid work placements to workless Sefton residents. The European Social Fund grant will allow Sefton@Work to provide essential services to Sefton residents to help improve their economic resilience in the longer term by making progress in the labour market and helping to provide working role models for their children and their communities. Ways to Work is one of the first projects of its kind to be run through the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and we are working closely with all the other Local Authorities to deliver a coherent and consistent support offer. Part of the grant offer includes funding from a European pot called Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) which specifically targets people under 29 years old who have no work experience or little work history.
For more information, please contact the main office on 0151 934 2610 or call in for an appointment.

If you are a Sefton resident over 16 years and would like to access free, impartial and confidential advice and guidance on removing barriers to employment give Sefton@Work a call on 0151 934 2610 to find out more about the ways in which we can help.
