Job Purpose: Green Sefton brings together our Coast & Countryside, Parks & Greenspaces, Flooding & Costal Erosion and Land Management teams The new Green Sefton Service will allow us to continue to look after public spaces effectively and support the Council’s 2030 Vision. The roles will include: General grounds maintenance and cleansing tasks & Ticket checking, taking payment and accounting for cash and giving advice.
Main Responsibilities: At this information session you will learn: Overview from employer and the benefits Information about the training on offer and where it will take place. The type of roles on offer In-work support available Communication with public including visitors in a polite and courteous manner. Adherence to safe working practices/Health and Safety procedures
Working Pattern: The information session will be on January Monday 20th at 2pm If you wish to undertake this opportunity you will be required to attend ALL the registration and training sessions starting on Monday 27th till Friday 7th February (subject to change)

Comments: YOU WILL BE 19+ AND UNEMPLOYED TO ACCESS THE TRAINING AND PLACEMENT ELEMENTs OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Registration with Sefton@Work required
Minimum Qualification Comments: GCSE in Mathematics and English, or equivalent. You will be required to undertake a simple skills assessment prior to starting. this is so you can be supported at the correct level during your training.
